Peer-Led Support for Substance Use

Empowering each other to improve health and wellbeing.

Group of people together

Wildcat Anonymous

We're an on-campus organization that works jointly with Campus Health's Counseling and Psych Services (CAPS) to provide meetings, peer mentoring, and activities for students who want to address their substance use. We are also committed to providing free activities that actively promote alcohol and substance abuse awareness or provide an alternative to activities commonly associated with alcohol abuse.

Our Vision

We strive to create a safe, respectful and healthy community for UA students and others we serve through our commitment to high standards of care and our collaboration with community partners.

Our Mission

To promote health, wellness and safety among UA students and the community we serve.

Regan Jepson

Regan left her favorite group ‘Wildcats Anonymous’ in May 2019, and has since been awarded the Marvin Andrews Fellowship with ASU to pursue a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. Her program and fellowship are designed to support the next generation of public managers, which upon graduation she hopes to build a career in local government. This year, she is working for the Alliance for Innovation and the Center for Urban Innovation to aid their efforts in identifying innovative approaches to governance. She would like to thank Wildcats Anonymous for the opportunity to be educated by and engage with students and changemakers dedicated to supporting students on campus. To members of Wildcats Anonymous, she hopes they will find an uplifting and inclusive community, and continue WA’s mission toward wellness and safety for all students.

After graduating with a Masters in Public Health, Joe went to live with the love of his life in her homeland of Seville, Spain. While there, they have been completing the bureaucratic process of getting a "Pareja de Hecho," which is a culturally accepted step on the path to marriage in Spain. Also, this will allow him to live and work in Spain for at least the next five years, which Joe intends to do. In the meantime, Joe keeps busy with daily Spanish courses, creating connections for future opportunities in International of Public Health Organizations, and staying active in local Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. In addition, Lucia and Joe started the first ever CODA meeting in Seville which now enjoys regular attendance from local people in need. Essentially life has been cafelitos, churros, tostadas, and siestas for Joe while enjoying the wonderful life made possible by all of the support he has received through the years. He wanted to thank everyone who got him to where he is today!
